Why does Lipo burn the switch assembly? Is it only built to handle like 9.6v? Will shooting semi only help?

Shooting in semi only makes things MUCH worse because there's an arc every single time you pull the trigger. The solution is to get a MOSFET so there's not enough voltage running through the trigger switch to cause an arc. |

That's interesting to hear. I just installed a G&P 160 on my P90 and the thing is loud and beastly, especially pulling the stock spring At about half the price of a magnum and more efficient (from what I hear), I can't imagine why someone would need to spend so much on a magnum unless they're running some kind of insane 599fps sniper setup. I also hear their pinion gears are shockingly crappy.

u can use high speed gears and shave off a couple teeth on your piston. some ppl even make "swiss cheese" out of their pistons to get higher ROF.

You should also remember a very simple thing : if your ROF is too high you're going to have a lot of misfeed. The nozzle moves so fast BBs can't get high enough in time to be chambered.
Had the case on my former A&K SR25 with G&P mags and a 11.1V 1200 mAh LiPo battery. An isane ROF ain't always a good thing... not to say some dudes should learn to aim |

ROF from 11.1v 1200mah (15c?) isn't THAT fast, but yes insane ROF is not needed.

Sector gear delay clip. High-quality mid-caps. Shouldn't have any issues feeding with just about any ROF out there.

been a while but i just played a game and it made me think of this thread.
i'm not looking for insane ROF, like i said i use 30rnd mags, i go through them quick enough. the problem is the reaction time from when i pull the trigger to when the BB comes out. its really long. the ROF would also be nice when i'm shooting at someone running between cover. |

Easiest Option: Lipo
More Efficient Option: Motor Ultimate Option: Lipo + Motor + MOSFET |

Lipo would require a special charger, Lipo bag and the purchase of new batteries.
A new $40 motor would solve all his problems. |

yup, motor is easiest and cheapest way to go. G&P M120

if you get a new motor you may have to to fiddle with you gun a bit to make it fit into your src. i just bought a new eg30000 and the pinion gear is slighly bigger than on the stock src motor and it doesnt fit into the mechbox due to this. i had to carefully use a drill to slighly widen the opening 1mm or less on the bottom of the mechbox.

I just got Li-Po and charger to add with my MARK III mosfett. It is such a wonderful purchase, I can now find out what is wrong with the 'dead' batteries our team has and I can bring this out to our no-power-access field and hook it up to a car. Sure for these new set ups you put a bunch of money in but you should judge it by results. I now have a 8.4v that I thought was caput, and the charger does my batteries in like an hour, so it will be easy to top up or charge up a battery on sight and it will be accurate/safe!
The MarkIII mosfett is called the 'trigger master' and you can actually adjust rate of fire with it, any time you like and its easy/quick to do. Options include 'three round burst', 'shot delay' and more. The soft start feature and seperate trigger wires save the motor and trigger contacts from wear, also this item will warn you if you have a low battery and should change. All these items together provide me with peace of mind (batteries are all charged and my gun is not at risk) along with the added bonus of helping people stay gaming as long as they want (by charging from the car)! Not to mention the bonus of a Li-Po (more recharges and fast trigger response) battery at 11.1v 1100mAh and having extra NiMh!
