Official I hate Canada postal service thread!!!

Hmmm...Reading all of these makes me wonder if my gun from Velocity will get here on time (Monday)...I highly doubt it will...That's in two days and it's sitting in Mississauga...Hmmm...I hope it does or I'm gonna be pretty ticked..I'm a very impatient guy

For me, when a gun is in Mississauga I usually get it the next day
I also have a gun sitting there, it's due Tuesday but I have some hope for Monday.

We'll see I guess.

Is this normal...

I have a package that was coming from new york to me here in Toronto Ontario. Now i checked the tracking and it has passed customs and in the hands of Canada post but is it normal for it to be in Montreal? do packages coming from new york state usually come through Montreal then down into Toronto?

yup...everything that comes from the East coast of the states goes throught the Montreal postal facility..... everything thing from the West coast and Asia goes through the Missisauga postal facility.....
(that's applies to Ontario, Quebec, and Maritimes only...)

AEG shipped from Hamilton to Ottawa at 11:30 in the afternoon using normal parcel service (3 to 4 days). Arrived the NEXT AFTERNOON in perfect condition with a pleasant postal worker in actual postal truck.

Im amazed.

Awesome, I'm in Ottawa so I don't know if I'll get mine tomorrow..Hopefully I do, that's when it says I should receive it! I'm expecting it to be Tuesday or Wednesday though unless it's in Ottawa now and they just haven't updated my tracking number yet. I hope this is the case! I keep refreshing my tracking page to see if it's updated and nothin'...Been in Mississauga since 6:04AM yesterday....I hope that has changed.:banghead:

Get some cash in hands, you probably have some duties, each time one of my package goes to MTL I get Charge lol

yeah i'm gonna have to do that but i knew that already. will be ok though prob get charged like 40 bucks maybe.. i have had stuff from the states shipped to me before but the duties were about 25 bucks. i'll prob take some monies out te day before when i see the tracking out for delivery... either that or i'll use the mastercard

So far so good, just woke up and checked the tracking number and it's in Ottawa and has been processed at the Postal Facility. Does this mean I will get it today, or do I have to wait until tomorrow?

I ordered a vest from Optics Planet on March 24. It got to Canada and in my province on March 29. AFAIK, it's still there to this day... waiting to be checked by customs... WTF

So that would be a customs issue..not Canada Post..they are not one and the same. Just saying.
