I'll throw this into the mix as a for instants. I know a INO
can be had in Canada 900$ from over seas. But they sell
on here for 2000$ new? Why is it I would want to order from
someone who has such a huge mark up on something I want.
I welcome anyone who can LEGALLY offer me a good deal
in airsoft I WANT.

If the yanks can sell up here the things I want in airsoft,
I'll buy from them.But wait,If I can get my INO's up here
for 1000-1200$ new,I'll buy here.

I like to think everyone is pro Canadian on their purchases but when you look at product that can be purchased elsewhere for a quarter or half of what we pay here then the alternative, increased competition and over seas distributors and suppliers becomes increasingly appealing and the first place most people will turn when they want to make purchases and save money.
Yes, the economy isn't the greatest but why would I spend more to buy local or Canadian when I can get it from the same place the local supplier gets it for a fraction of the cost.

All I can say is that there are Canadian businesses out there doing their best to provide a fair price. Given some of the outrageous prices in the past, and the pretty dramatic general decreases in overall prices for the last couple of months, I'd say they're succeeding for the most part. There is, of course, always room for improvement.

But, que sera, sera.

I know from experience that this comes back to you in the future.

The I want it Cheap and Now approach does not have sustainability
Brian read what you said. I would LOVE to pay 20% markup to buy from Canadian.. hell 50% markup even. But 100,200 to 300% markup is whats going on right now with some retailers

Not all retailers are guilty of this. Infact Mach 1 and Oneworld both are around 50% or so for their higher end product and I applaud them both. And Saint relax, what your doing is fine, and the retailers that are being supplied are "fairly" priced for the most part and anyone here insulting you directly is off their rocker.

Fact of the matter is, I always prefer to buy Canadian, but I certianly am not willing to spend 200% more on an identical product just because Im Canadian. Its an insult and its dishonest. Someone explain to me why a $50 dollar US GBB that was brough into Canada from the states is being sold for 300+ by Canadian retailers. Is it shipped in a gold box by virgins? Gimme a friggen break.

+1. I'm looking for GBBRs and many are almost $1k and up.

$900 for a brand new Inokatsu seems quite off that's like below dealer cost.

Nice threadjack, guys.

The thread doesn't even pretend to address the initial post.

Locked and reviewing for infractions to hand out.
