Alright, after a few requests for "samples" I've decided that I'll sell each pack of 4 for 5(.50)$ to a limited number of people once the "alpha" testing gets done (proof of concept). The earliest this will get done is next Sunday, so Monday will be the earliest the nubs will go out, but more realistically wednesday through friday. This is assuming everything goes to plan, and the nubs perform "better" than the stock nub, or comparably or better than the PCS/SCS.
Some things that may need to be changed is the material (polycarbonate) to something else such as nylon. Another thing is the neoprene "pad" I bought last night is 30A duro, which is very soft, and I haven't handled it yet, but for comparison, most sorbo pads are 70D. This may not be suitable for automatic fire, so I may need to release multiple versions (auto vs dmr), and if the flat/angled nub are successful, I plan to develop a flat/angled nub for the vsr-10 hopup. I plan to finish testing by the end of the summer, where the price will go back up to 5$ a nub. I would suggest waiting until the release version "1.0" but I know some of you like to try out the new stuff. I can't guarantee performance at this point, which is why the price is reduced. PM me if you are interested Due to changes in paypal policy (which I wasn't aware of) please add $.50 to the order (to $5.50). (everybody who has already contacted me is fine at $5.00) Update: I've decided to create 25 "alpha" kits, and so far 3 of them are sold and a few more are pending. In about a month, I expect the beta test, and by the end of the summer will be the release. The beta will be 11$ a kit, and the release will be 6$ per nub. Since the design phase for the AHP (Now the Extended Nub Project, ENP) is over, all further discussion will take place in the new thread.
