Will there be any aftermarket parts available?
I would love to buy one for cqb purpose so a fps drop would become handy. Diffrent (outer)barrels wouldn't hurt either. |

Some of the KSC m4 parts will fit in it, and for fps drops, there's a DangerWerx valve that will give you sub 350 velocity, and the NPAS for System 7 pistols/ mp7's will work in the LM4 as well.
I switched mine to a KSC m4 hopup chamber and rubber, so I have a Guarder 6.02 TBB in there now. |

Does anyone know what system this GBBR uses? Is it the same as WA, G&P and King Arms system?

I believe it is a modified WA one

As far as I'm aware, the NS2 system is it's own, proprietary system. I haven't yet seen anyone make any WA or WE parts fit without serious modding.

The reason that people say its a modified WA was because KSC/KWA used WA design as a basis for their GBBR. KSC/KWA mag can be used in WA gun with little modification.

Touche, my good man. I was unaware of this. But then again, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, as the majority of GBBR manufacturers base their guns off the WA platform.

Just wanted to post an update here about the LM4, as some of my information may have been premature.
Guarder tight bore and KSC hopup chamber --> Works, but needed some minor modification. Had to dremel a tapered slot for the ball bearing to move through for it to be properly adjustable. Am now getting awesome consistency and range with an a+ studio bucking, .25-.3 work great, haven't tried .2's yet. Picked up an mp7/system 7 NPAS to install in my lm4, and decided to look for instructions to disassemble the nozzle (better safe than sorry) and in the process found some new threads about the NPAS that confirm that NPAS will NOT work in the LM4 without modification. So... I was dead wrong, I apologize. |

That being said, RA-Tech has a Nozzle w/ NPAS, and even complete BCG + N Nozzle + Npas on sale for the KSC M4 GBBR. They confirmed me these would work fine with the LM4 ASIAN version. I haven't inquired about the US version but the BCG and Nozzle looks pretty much the same to me; But take this with a grain of salt About the Guarder hopup, do you have any pics of the mod? I will most probably change mine at some point as I always have over hop with .28's |

i WOULD have pics, but breaking it down to get the inner barrel out is a huge pain in the ass, so... maybe later ;-) Actually, I'm probably going to do the same mod to my stock KWA hopup chamber, so I have a spare, so when I do that I'll get you pics. Basically just trace a line where the ball will roll, and dremel a channel, making one side deeper than the other. Test fire and adjust as needed.
At first we didn't make the channel slope deep enough, so it worked, but there was very little adjustment up or down... Took it apart, dremeled one side deeper, reassembled, tested again till we got it right. Now it goes from too-little on .25's up to just about perfect for .3's. So that's about the range of adjustment. If I wanted more (say to adjust for .2's or higher than .3's) I could either dremel the deep side deeper (for .2's) or cut the whole thing way down and use a slightly larger ball bearing. (stock hopup ball is 2mm, I have 2.5mm, but with the depth of channel we'd cut, even on the low setting it was overhopping .3's) Anyways, I know a picture is worth a thousand rambling words, so maybe after this weekend I'll break my upper down and disassemble my hopup for pics. Just don't want to screw with it till I've gamed it this weekend. Just a little superstitious is all ;-) I've heard that about the NPAS by the way. Need to dremel channels sort of like the "rocket valve"... But without mod it drops velocity to like 250fps. I'm interested in the KSC BCG/nozzle (because I'd like to have a spare, and actually one set for "outdoors" and one set for "cqb" would be nice), the only downside is that the KSC nozzle doesn't have any steel (I believe it's steel) reinforcements in the nozzle, so it could wear out and break faster than the stock nozzle. |

Overhop?! Out of the box I couldn't even GET my hopup up to .28... And at .25 it would work itself off as I fired, so by the end of an afternoon the dial would be at full and I sitll wouldn't have enough hop. That little metal bar is waayyy too flimsy.

And yeah the nozzle is all plastic in the asian version. I haven't used my GBBR much yet, as I just fired a fire round here and there to try things a bit then put it away waiting to be "fixed" (hopup and npas etc), but the plastic/abs? seems of good quality enough. I don't know how much stress at have to handle though, but compared to the Nozzle my KWA's M93 had, it's much thicker and seems sturdier. Time will tell |

So I wanna get a LM4 but I cannot find a retailer in Canada. I was thinking of ordering it from Airsoft gi or Evike but it might get confiscated. Any help? Thanks.

Airsoft guns in general are not always 100% in stock at all times. KWA will build and ship a batch and then it can be months before people get restocked. Spring is coming though so get on following through with paragraph two and you'll be setup.
