I say, take a glock, KWA or KJ. Great for smaller hands.

I would definately take a Glock 19/23 over a Beretta, etc, any day.

rifles are a bitt costy and are very high powered...nothing you would need And a pistol is more of a secondary weapon. Go for a TM mp5 or m4

If you are going to go against all the rules of this website, we cant stop you. But do yourself a huge favor and at least read through the Information section?

Then you wont have to ask questions that are already answered, like gun costs, ammo needs, battery requirements, etc.

u will need atleast 4 batteries. try 9.5 volt 3000 mah. probably 2 bags of bbs. just to start you will need like 15 mags. that way you wont run out of ammo when your playing.

With that much battery power and that many BBs... Hope you're reusing.

Anyway, all you really need is a high cap, couple bags of BBs and a 600 - 1700mah 12v battery........

What 14 year old gets $600 for christmas?

Actually, now that I think about it... anyone that can save that much up, with the right education, they should be smart enough to play...

Anyway... not locked yet?

I was a poor child ... I envy you :P

For starters since your out in the big open I suggest an AEG ... really it doesn't matter what kind of AEG you get since they all preform the same at stock level. It all depends on your taste (yes I know this is in the FAQ) lol so yes ... if you want a gun that will last aim for a Full Metal kind ..and since your outdoors I believe the FPS limit would be 350fps or so which would be alright if you decided on purchasing an ICS, CA, or SRC type. But make sure you look into what guns of those brands your getting since the older versions do have faults. If you want reliability on the preformance of your gun just stick with a TM .. and as mentioned before, it doesn't matter what kind of AEG you get since they are all the same ...one more note would be if you want longer lasting battery than get a full stock rather than a retractable one so you can fit in a large battery. Anyway I think I've covered a small bit, hope it's been usefull

Regardless, some parents give their child(ren) a hefty allowance to keep them out of their hair. If the parent(s) were to be fully educated of the risks involved with a 14 year old posessing an airsoft gun, chances are that the child in subject would not be permitted access to an airsoft gun of any type. Sadly, many parents are not responsible enough to actually pay attention to what their child does in their spare time.

No intention of discriminating against any particular age group / parents, just stating the obvious.

Just do us all a favour, and play in completely private areas, on private land, where no one will see you. Even if all the people in your area understand, there may be a visitor who doesn't, calls the cops, and knowing the media in Canada, all airsofters will get a bad rep, and next thing we know, it's banned. (worst case scenario) So please try your best to stay safe and careful, and be respectful of everyone. And don't let people touch your gun unless you'd trust them with a real one.

If your going to be responsible.... and since the chance that you get in trouble is lower than usual....

Maybe if you dont care about UBER quality go for a starter AEG at canadianairsoft.com

But please make sure that when you play, make sure all your friends and yourself have the necessary equipment to protect your eyes !!!!

You really should decide for yourself whether you want handgun or rifle. If you're going pistol, then decide between GBB (gas blowback... a simulated recoil) or NBB (non-blowback, no recoil). WA is expensive but good quality, TM is your all-around good choice, then the middle (KSC, KJW, etc.) and then your knockoffs (WE). With the lower ends, you can read all the reviews you want about guns that work flawlessly and others who get lemons. I'm a pistol guy myself. I've had my share of bad luck. As for what's better... go for what you think looks nicest. That's the advice I was given and that's what I tell everyone else.

As far as rifles go, I really don't know all that much so I won't say anything.

Have you thought about shotguns? I recently started playing with them and I love them now. Keep in mind that I play CQB only, not outdoors.
