Gear timing is a myth, when your reassemble the gun and fire it once on semi the gears are now aligned properly, reason being theres a mechanical cutoff cam on the sector gear. If the cutoff notch was on the bevel or spur gear THEN you'd have to worry about gear timing.
I suggest the systema FTK as well, Guarder seems to have alot of trouble making gears, but everything else they make is good.
The most important part of having consistency of your shots is going to be your hop up rubber. Guarder and Prometheus (soft) are good choices.

Are you saying you can install sector gear in any direction? It doesn't really matter when it manipulates the tappet plate? I was always told to have to lobe facing 1 o'clock and to have the anti-reversal latch locking the the gears in place. That way the first teeth engage at the right time instead of prematurely and possibly lock up (not sure why a latency would matter, this happens in short stroking.) just curious

I have also had great experiences with Prometheus soft (purple) hop-ups. I have them in all my AEGs and have bought 4 in the past year in a half.
