Urg, nerf longshots had so much potential... The feeding system is crap though, primarily because the foam darts are too flexible and like to twist or bend out of place after a good amount of use (or forcing them in a jam situation). If they'd used a plastic sleeved dart (like bubble tea drinking straws), it would've been so much better.

Also, Omega!, where the hell can I get me one of those?

Sorry guys, the Vulcan is set to be released in the USA in fall 2008... as for us, seeing as we still don't have the nerf Recon, I'll have to ask around to see if we get either of them this side of the border... I've ben seeing an alarming lack of Longshots and the other big'uns for awhile... I just hope Canada hasn't wimped out and said they look too real or dangerous....

In any case, for all those interested in modding nerf, it's ridiculously simple, just start with the Nightfire or Diskshot. I'd recommend trying:
www.nerfhaven.com
it's where I learned the basics of modding and painting Nerf. It's fun, it's cheap and it's friendly! If anyone has any questions, PM, I love talking Nerf.
