Off topic: I just want to know. Has anyone ever bought a gun from VA? I want to know the built quality of their guns and how is the quality of the receiver (top and lower)?

If all you want is a continuous upper rail then get a VLTOR MUR-1 Upper and a Daniel Defence MK18 RIS II. I've seen a real nice build with those two items.

Are you sure the MK18 only had the continuous rail when used with a VLTOR upper?

Hmm, I have a DD MK18 ris II on a KA Stag-arms body, and the gap is very small. I think it might be due to the MK18 being a China clone though.

That's not the only one for sure, it's just a real nice one. If you're going to build something like that you might as well set it up well.

If I were you, I would check out SRC's HK416, they're pretty sweet and already upgraded out of the box.

For all SRC Gen III M4 / 416 line AEG's, the mock bolt is intentionally made to remain open even after charging handle is let go.

SRC did this to allow "one handed hop up adjustment". After adjusting your hopup, just give the charging handle a push, and the bolt will go completely forward

I do find this design inaccurate with the real gun design, but none the less it does make hop up adjustment a tad more convenient.

There are so many age-verifiers in the Mississauga/Toronto area. You can find someone else.

You can also head down to Port Credit and see Jeroon down at Army Issue. He can AV you and you can also walk away with more goodies than you ever knew you needed.

I bought one a few weeks ago. have no problems with it. It might be plastic but its tough, theres demos of people taking hammers to the body and it doesnt break. Its good quality for its price, has metal internals. over all not bad for under 500$
