Regional get togethers sound great!! The Brooks/Hanna guys would like to meet up with our Lethbridge neighbours (Con Murder) and Red Deer, Calgary, Edmonton, Med. Hat, etc.
A day not just for the noobs, newbies, et al. but I'm sure we all still have one or two things we could learn from others? Hopefully most of us are going to Claybank again this year though! |

Claybank FTW. It would be sweet to have even more turn out this year. Last year it was 220+ players. This is one event to come to if you are planning a road trip. Lots of players. At a phenominal location, and 2 days this year as well.

It was the best!!! I was so dog tired but despite being on the losing side, I had a blast! To bad the last scenario was so ... scattered, confused, fubar? Having 110 players rushing up the hill, What a sight!! |

If you wanna do a trip to Claybank I think all who live here with me are already planning to come. So If your in the area please contact me and we may be able to set things up.
But thats May long, I was thinking about it and perhaps a smaller scale would help more people visualize this for summer. I joined some AB forums to get that going at least. Still would like to make it out to Ontario for some fun this summer, though if we can only get to Manitoba I'm certain none will be disappointed The last year was my first full season so I am green behind the ears and consider myself a noob. This has nothing to do with the respect I bring with me when I go to a game. I hope to show you all my sportsmanship and the thanks I have for this forum. Looking forward to Claybank this year and the meetings we will have.

I'd like to welcome all new players to my event at Claybank.
Operation Mason Relic II is indeed on May long weekend (May 22nd 23rd) I picked this day because of the fact that so many players come from so far away. I think it's nice to have the extra day to return home. Operation Mason Relic II is for everyone. Last year saw experienced players as well as players that picked up a gun for the first time just weeks before the event. I struture my events this way to ensure growth in this sport across Canada. I think it's extremely important for the new guys to play along side the experienced to learn on field tactics, as well as off field etiquette, which in my opinion is every bit as important as onfield play. Watch for the event forum out today or tommorow. Thank you, Al
