Yes. I can verify his stock is in Canada. I've been in his store hundreds of times. I've bought a couple dozen aegs and pistols over the last 2 years. The prices are good, and he gets guns knowone else has. When I was emailing availability from othe retailers about the G&G UMG, and getting no response. I walk into Canadian Airsoft and pick one up on display.

If I'm not mistaken i think its Airsoft Elite out of the U.S. And, Yes he has an importers licence. The local CFO is always visiting him making sure things are legit. Everything must be ok, I think his last ICS order had over 100 AEGS.

The site is legit and the guys have been retailing for awhile now. I've had some club members order through them and it went very well. Edmonton players have also ordered from them with ( what I hear ) very positive experiences aswell.

The site may be legit, but 260$ seems a little high for a UTG. and I don't like the way mcguyver is pimping the website.

I agree those damn UTG guns should not be that jacked up in pricing unless its really justified

so why don't people bitch when a $220 u.s. tm gun sells in canada for $450+? don't forget about the cost of doing business in this country. when you order an item personally, you only pay exchange, freight and gst. when you are a business, you pay exchange, duty ( i think it's %30 or something for taiwan based on the exchanged price which varies), freight and gst. then the business is going to want to turn a profit to justify itself, but trust me a $500 tm will cost the retailer $400+ to land it here. so why should anyone be shocked that a $110-$120 u.s. aeg would not sell for double in canadian dollars? you could always order it yourself and save on duty and mark-up, but i think we all know what that will get you. and syphen, i'm sorry if you think i'm pimping those guys out. that's your opinion, but for those who want the utg alternative, it's also my opinion to point out a viable option.

I agree with mcguyver with this. As long as canadian airsoft is the only supplier he/she can set what ever price they want. I'm sure he’s making huge profit margins from the sale but if any other retailer wants to come in to the market place they are more then welcome too. I'm sure Tru or Rangers has all the proper paperwork to bring it in, wither they do or not its up to them. Until then, stop bitching about the markup price as canadain airsoft is the only supplier as of now.

I just find how some of the prices are ridiculously high, and some of the prices are ridiculously low. Find a mid-way please! (to the lower end of the price chart, preferrably  )

Does anyone other than mcguyver have any first hand experiance with these guys? I'm really liking their ICS prices but it seems the only guy saying anything about them is mcguyver and no one really knows who he is... he may be CanadianAirsoft for all he's shown us.

I was at his store when I was on my way up to the yukon this summer. The store and the guy is 100% legit, he is great to work with. I bought a TM AK47 and various other toys on my way back down.
I know two people here in regina who have bought ICS M4's from him. The only issue i would have is they do not have the real steal markings (Just says ICS on the reciever) and the barrel tip is orange when you first get it. But the prices are real, and you get a full metal ICS M4 at a great price. If you don't need the real markings and you don't mind painting the barrel, its a great deal. They ship fast, and are a great to deal with. |

The people in the other thread seem to be quite displeased with them, apparently one was cheated and sent 3 heavily used non-hopupped spring pistols, instead of what was advertised.
