Seriously, you can get in some trouble for this, shot or not, what would it feel like to have police officers aiming their loaded guns at you with fingers on the trigger? If you aren't thinking then and raise the muzzle even a couple inches.. it's all over.

But, to tell you the truth, most people on this site are more worried about their sport getting a bad rep and being banned or heavily restricted than you getting shot at. Don't do anything stupid, we will all regret it if you do.

Silent_Recon, you live Vancouver, surely there is an airsoft field that will let you play, say with a guardian's consent? I'm 15 but my local field lets me do that. Guns- I don't like my FAMAS that much, unless you're good with parts it'll fall apart as mine is doing, and replacement parts are near impossible to find, I broke the magcatch tripping into a foxhole months ago and I still can't find a replacement. The spetz has crazy range and is very solid, and I would definitely choose it over the FAMAS. However, if you can stand the flimsiness and nonexistent upgradeability then go for it. Veterans will duck when you shoot on auto.

Some here have been using and handling Real Guns for longer than you've been alive. Maybe they know something too.

Read a thread in the forums partly entitled Underage 101. I agree with the others, time will tell if you're sincere or not.

It's not a proper or designated airsoft area then it's not fine and so what if it does have an orange tip what if some hiker or someone gets a BB in the eye? Is the orange tip going to stop that? Before anyone gets a gun that fires ANY type of projectile they should know the rules and proper firearm handling. I'm 16 as well and i wish to aquire an airsoft rifle as well but if i do it's going to be with my parents/legal guardians full permission and through them not some freind who probably isn't much of a freind if he's willing to help you break the law.
