Dont get too happy though. Even if your responsible, anything that makes airsoft look bad in canada can completely ruin it for everyone You SHOULD wait till your 18. I know you can't so get a plinker or a kraken or something even WALMART untill your 18 just for you to play around with. and as I've been told (cuz I'm new here) stick around ASC, learn and get familiar.

OK i have a thought,
IF the 416 upper receivers were sold separately, could we not just buy these upper receivers and put them on our m4 bodies??? *if they fit on say dboys lowers or something* This would be fantastic, as it is legal to import the upper receiver. someone please say this will work lol. |

its okay...
you can get the 416 front ris for under $100, the rear end for like $130 and the metal body for 3-400$ i think, if you can find the metal body... its not about being cheaper, and its not nearly as cheap as a JG, however i much prefer to make my guns myself instead of buying pre-made JG crap. plus you get all the parts you want, not the crappy mech boxes, or shit internals. even the JG metal parts dont hold a candle to the Hurricane or VFC or even aftermarket CNC'd parts. The quality of the metal is sooooo much better. |

I'm not too sure about getting just an upper for a 416, but I personally would just go with a complete 416 receiver to ensure a proper fit and also color match.
Are you looking for ABS or metal? |

ya i hear you, i was thinking the same.
metal of course, plastic if anyone has an extra one for cheap. but in my case: i would sandblast both a m4 lower and the 416 upper, powder coat, re-engrave, and voila i have the best 416 body ever...and its uber cheap for me. |

I'm not sure that blasting it would be the best solution, I've blasted parts on cars before but never aluminum. You may want to read up if blasting aluminum with effect it or not first before doing that.
