I've only been able to test it out a bit, but so far I love it. It's quite well built; reinforced and steel where need be. The 416C also kicks pretty hard and very crisp. It makes me tingle, lol. The mag fits in very snug; no wobble what so ever, but it takes some force to get it in. The only problem I can see right now is parts availability. Since it's such a unique gun only made by VFC, if anything breaks it could be a pain to fix. There are also no spare parts for sale at the moment.

That's awesome, making me want one haha. Yes, the extra parts was something I worried about when it comes to VFC GBBR's. I've been having a hard time trying to decide whether to get the AEG 417 or wait for the GBBR version(I emailed them about it a month or two ago and they confirmed that they will be making one still). A bit of a deterrent with the GBBR being reliability of parts and availability of aftermarket parts.

Amazing to hear that they are still coming out with the 417 GBBR. I need one to complete the family.

As for which one to get, I don't have an accurate since of how well made their line of GBBRs are. I'm all for gas guns, but reliability and accuracy is killing it for me right now. I'm planning to get a 416 PTW for outdoor and GBBR for indoor.

Yes I do, it's a Soviet surplus SKS sling. Way more solid than any Magpul hunk of junk!

That's exactly it, tons of fun to shoot, but when range and accuracy start to matter I can see it becoming frustrating. I'd love to get a PTW, but it would limit my gun options, and I like having a collection of different guns. Especially as I'm working on building my H&K line.

Very nice, aside from the ACOG being on it. Looks a bit funny, but will look serious with a reflex or even a KOBRA.

I think the ACOG looks fine on it, looks like the perfect outdoor setup

Thank you! I just slapped the ACOG on for a recent CQB game, so I could use the doctor sight.

The reflex sight will be used for CQB (quick target acquisition), while the ACOG will be used for outdoors to see people, and then run up to them and hose them down :P.

Actually, thinking about it, you could always invest in an Elcan Spectre DR. 1-4x zoom would come in handy without having to change sights per situation. Hit the dial and you have either or.

Merry frakin' Christmas.
