Canadian loadout 56K beware

Sorry to bust in here with my nooby loadout, but here it is- http://www.flickr.com/photos/2821092...10009/sizes/l/

Its not the best, but it only put me back $150.00. The shirt and pants are CF issue from Army Issue Surplus (Great little store, never thought he could pack that much stuff in there...) . The helmet is a PASGT with a homemade cover and scrim. The knee pads are Parklands.

I have the same knee pads. I just received Cadpat from armyissue as well. That's fine for a basic loadout. Do you have a vest or webbing?

Wasnt that Fun this morning Lerch? I live in the same Shacks as the pictures taken infront of. I enjoyed the fact that work was cancelled after finaly making it there. lol... oh well to the field I go tomorrow.

Not sure if this has been asked before but..

Lerch, I've seen pictures on Military Photos of CF guys wearing the US PASGT helmet just with a CADPAT cover.
I don't know if thats only for early training or something.. but is it something that is commonly found?

Would that more or less make an impression accurate if one where to use a PASGT helmet for something CF based? :/

The only time the CF issues out the PASGT these days is in St-Jean for BMQ when the Gallet comes into short supply. I know there were one or two guys on my basic that got issued them until more stock arrived.

As for a reasonable facsimile, the PASGT would do you fine, even closer yet if you got one of the USGI Airborne chinstraps. Otherwise a MICH 2000 would also work the role. It's up to you.
