I think I'll come to this convention, it could be very helpful for someone who is trying to get into airsoft in Canada.
I was wondering, will people be wearing their uniforms ? |
|
October 24th, 2006, 01:36 | #68 |
Yes, there are a few 'best dressed' competitions for this event, so I would expect there to be many uniforms present. There's a few games planned as well, and a place to change. The best policy for most events is 'civillian in, civillian out'.

Kit Swap meet
I think one of the best parts of this event, apart from getting to meet everyone.. and everyone coming together is the opportunity to sell or trade gear and accessories that you don't need anymore.
Everyone who has been participating in airsoft for any length of time has stuff that they don't want anymore. One of the principal barriers to selling it is people always want to see it first.. That is the whole point of a swap meet... bring your stuff, put a tag on it with your name and the price you would like to get.. and see what happens. Or if you see something good... maybe you can trade for it.. I know I have accumulated a lot of gear I don't use.. probably about $1000 or more worth... and I am looking forward to a chance to clear out the closet so to speak... So bring your extra stuff... and maybe you will walk away with a bit o' coin.

Evening All.
Paul Cobham from Willowretreat here. Just a few notes to say how im looking forward to Saturdays events Im going to be bringing some course info for 2007, with discount vouchers for anyone attending Gmac's first event. I will be available to answer questions and help anyone with Bush craft/survival or wilderness related problems, or if you have any ideas or (constructive) suggestions then we can sit down over a coffee, (milk only, no sugar) and talk.opcorn: Our 2007 winter survival courses are now fully booked. So we are taking names for our summer/fall sessions. One of the proposed trips is a three week, canoe/portage trip to James Bay, how we could incorporate Airsoft or milsim into this trip is open for debate, come talk to me at Saturday’s event. I trust that in the true camaraderie of the armed forces spirit, which can apply to Airsoft, all our brothers and sisters will come out and support a honestly open event. Ps, im looking for some back packs and snow shoes, KSc g17 mags, e-mail me or bring them along on Saturday Regards Paul C |

GMAC Special For TTAC3 winter season Membership
Monthly membership at TTAC3 costs $60 a month, typically you would get 10 indoor and one outdoor game at EOTEC for that.
(along with deep discounts in other Fighting Arts Collective Toronto programs) I often offer a winter special around this time of year, 3 months membership for $150.00 (November December January) And I will again this year. However.. for attendees at GMAC I am making a special offer 3 months membership for the price of 2. November December january for $120.00. This is 30 indoor games and 3 outdoor games (yes we do play in winter!!) at a per game cost of less than $4.00. This offer is only at GMAC, see me there!
