Oh great, I just put in a mag/BB order from eHobby...
At least I have to wait for a week before PayPal actually pulls the money out of my account... Maybe they'll have the new scrubs trained by the time my order hits their hands.

Yeah customs is giving me some hassles too :S It works out though in good time as long as you're not trying anything sneaky.

Pray to the airsoft gods that ehobby ensures their shipments and have ehobby file a dispute with CP. They wont want nothing to do with you, only the party that sent the parcel.
PS: You might not want to let the ladies know you lost your package, wont win ya any points. |

just a forewarning on that, disputes with Hong Kong post normally take 4-6 weeks to even get a message from them that they will look into resolving the issue let alone actually conclude anything.

I've seen that there have been many other posts about similar issues.
--Update-- I've just received my parts after 2 months and a week of being ordered. I love EVIKE. (sarcasm) I had a very high bill to pay before I could pick the package up, nothing unexpected due to the issues that I had. When I opened the package, there were pieces that were not placed back in their box, and I did not get the correct items as ordered from EVIKE. It happens, I'm not fighting them anymore. I'm just going to think long and hard about ordering from the company. EHobby has been much better for me in the long run.

this whole scenario is retarded.... i mean, the customs guy, who doesnt know what he's doing just seizes LEGAL items..... then they state its UP TO the guy who ordered it to PROVE its legal? thats retarded. THEY should know whats legal or not.
this whole country is bass akwards..... for the love of pete. these things shoot plastic balls. pretty soon forks will be banned. |

What is with Canadian customs?
I sent a Green Celtic Shemagh on Tuesday 2nd of June it arrived in Mississauga, Toronto on Thursday 4th of June according the the tracking number, but it did not then leave customs and arrive at its destination until Wednesday 17th in London Ontario - which I think is approx. two hours or so drive away from Toronto right? So, what gives with the slowness of Canadian customs and why such along delay?

@ ÉIREGOBRÁCH:
Cause it's the government. They only work the hours they're supposed to and are pretty inefficient. For example when my brother went to get his provincial ID from the DMV there were people inside before 9 just sitting there and it didn't open till *exactly* 9. They wouldn't let him in before just to get his stupid ID that takes like 5 mins to do. Sure I'd understand if it was like 8 in the morning and they open at 9 but honestly it was like 850 in the morning and they couldn't take 5 minutes out of their time to do a simple task? Customs sometimes clears packages in a day and sometimes it can take months. It really depends if they "get to" taking a look at your package or not. I heard one guy had a package sitting in the CBSA warehouse for a few months till he got his stuff and while his stuff was sitting there he ordered some more stuff and had it cleared in a few weeks.

If you'd like your taxes raised I'm sure they will hire more customs agents.
