keeping in mind you need room for your hand right, that last pic you uploaded has little room at the top of the backstrap.

Hmm- sorry, it's probably because it's really late, but what do you mean?

He's saying that you need to leave room for the part of your hand that's between your thumb and your index finger.

Ah- good point, it certainly doesn't look very comfortable.
I'm not too sure if that goes with the real-steel specs, but perhaps molding that bit a tad bit higher would be a good idea- while you can hold it still, the whole comfort issue comes into play. But, this isn't exactly a skirmish weapon- we'll see how it pans out.

Have you not read the earlier posts? We've considered this many times and it's a big NO for now.. We don't want to break a ksc g26c trying to make a damn prototype.

Also, I'm almost done the model, doing it in 3DS so it's going by pretty quick, expect an update shortly.

OOOH.
I quite like it, thanks- that actually solves two of our problems.

looks like you migh be able to fit the MK23's lam unit inside there, would make for better target aquisition and nighttime combat scenarios.

glad i was of some help, how are you guys planning on locking the gun into it?

-for the lam, might work nicely, looks like there could be alot of extra space for something to fit in there.

We're going to use clamps, I think one for the front, one inside of the trigger area and possibly one just under the slide where the grip ends. To put the whole thing together, the gun will most likely be a two part shell, you take one side out, put the gun in, and attach the other side and screw it all in.
