yeah, that doesn't seem very good. It goes together no problem when the lower receiver is removed?

is your magazine comnpletley full?? or does this happen with an empty mag too? if its full I have the same thing and its normal your just need to give it a firm push or smack on the bottom to seat it... same thing happens with RS 30 rnd mags too.. go figure lol

It's a pretty straightforward issue really...and not really an "issue" at all.

Fill up a mag until it's full. Then press down on the BBs with your fingertip...pretty stiff right? That's the force that you're overcoming by ramming the mag into the gun...those BBs are pressing against the nozzle as the mag is being seated.

If your bolt is locked back...there's no nozzle for the stack of BBs to press against = full, easy seating of the mag. Then when the nozzle comes forward...it'll strip off the first BB and chamber it like it's supposed to.

If you're smashing the full mag in while the nozzle is forward...then you're essentially smashing the side of your nozzle, which can't be good for anything. You'll end up with a stressed nozzle, deformed BBs, etc...

Either lock your bolt back...or short load your mag 1-2 BBs so there's some give in the stack.

bingo

I find that the WE mags are able to fit 32-33 BB's. Loading only 30 should help negate any issues. if you're loading until it's crammed full, then there's too much. most loaders are 4 BB's per pump. count 7 and a half. or stop at 7. if you can count 8 pumps on a loader, the 2 extra is the reason it won't seat as Tys mentioned.

closed bolt or open bolt? the BBs have already been mentioned so I feel I should point out an alternative possibility, for the open bolt mags, alot of the time, the plastic feed lip assembly will pull out at the back behind the gas seal, and the plastic will push against the nozzle and also the feed ramp, making it hard to put the mag in, a buddy of mine converted to open bolt and all of his mags feed lips are chewed up from dislodging and getting shoved into the feed ramp, and I notice a similar issue raising an another buddies open bolt M16

I always load my WE M4 GBBR mags to full capacity - then pop out two bbs.

Works like a charm

Oh sorry, yes it is open chamber and I only tried loading it with 1x BB in the mag and even on an empty mag. Haven't tried loading with a full 30 rounder yet. Tried two different mags as well.
When I smack it, it does snap and lock into place, but I was wondering if that's the norm now, because I like how it used to go in easy.

So far this only seems to happen with 20 round mags, not factory produced 30 rounders. I'm at about 10 or 11 mag dumps each with the 30 rounders and I'm pretty impressed.

You were right, it's completely leveled now. I still have to use a bit more force than usual, but it's definitely a lot easier now.

quick question - The plastic spacer between the nozzle and the guide rod tube - mine has been crushed... More like a mushroom shape actually.. Bb's still fire and not jam .. most likely from using CO2 mags... anywhere I can pick them up? A stronger alternative perhaps? Would like to replace this before it fails in a game.. Thanks guys!

mine crushed when I tried firing some king arms bios, extruded it right through the base of the nozzle, but I carved a replacement out of the rubber from one of those rubber door stopper pads, its got a good resistance to pressure while still having some give, it seems to do well with preventing damage to the nozzle when a BB jams

if you want another original, airsoftbuddy.com will probably have them, but i think the stock material is poor, so I prefer my homemade version

What are the steps/procedure to repairing the white spacer in my WE M4 bolt which has moved out of place?

Tom had previously super-glued it into place last time this happened - where do I re-apply the glue when doing the fix again?

Thanks - much appreciated!

push it back to the end of the bolt, and if you can spin it, rotate ir 90 degrees and put glue on hte sides and spin it back, if you cant, just glues where you can see and hope it holds, the alternative is to drill a hole and use a pin, but I just took mine out, ive fired probably 30k rounds since I took it out and have had no issues related to the white block, it doesnt really do anything, because the brass tube keeps the nozzle straight, its not really necessary

I've just found this problem on the nozzle bended a bit since the O-ring broken and got stuck. Do you nozzle straight?
