I tried it out, is pretty good once it settles down. I ended up with maybe 2" groups at 20ft when I tried it. Best thing about it, it's NBB which means it'll be more reliable in sandy environments (which I often am in and really fucks my GBBs bad)............ I still have my KSC Mk23 FMU to use most of the time, but now I have a decent sidearm I can rely on more than my fucked KSC G19s (both are a pain, reliable for years, now work great at home but not on the field when I really need them). Hence my paying $100 for a pistol I can at least get 15 reliable shots out of, that is better than a springer (which also suffers from my sand filled exploits. I'm a sniper remember, crawling happens often!)

If you're looking for a challenge, why not try joining the "300 club". Guys run guns at strictly 300 fps or less, more of a test of skill, less range... I forget who had it as there signature, but I thought it was kind of interesting.

The true challenge lies with running a 300fps gun(s) against guys that go full bore with up to 400fps. A game with everyone under 300fps isn't a challenge, it's just more of the same. I'm happier with my 400fps sniper rifle and GBBs going against everyone than I am being on a side and using a 360fps MP5 and having my sniper rifle and a pistol or two with me. I'm REALLY looking to under gun myself next year, just because I have the experience and confidence from it to pull it off.

Been there, done that. 0.12g is a waste of time, I've gotten more hits on guys at games with varied ammo weights by stepping on them and having them shoot off somewhere. Trust me, I've been creditted with kills at games I didn't even attend.
Don't treat me like a noob, I've been in the shittiest positions anyone can get into, and dealt with all, either had my ass owned large (and learned from it) to pulling off shit to survive most players would say "WTF?!?" to. I often set myself up totally undergunned and deal with it, is why I still play. AEGs get boring after a while, is why I'm looking at complimenting my all day carry with "crapsoft". If I can do well with it based upon experience and my only trick is using heavier BBs based upon my extensive ballistics studies, where does that leave the rest of you? |

I think the 300 club is people who plays with less than 300 bbs per game in total. Correct me if I am wrong. They are the milsim people.

Okay a little filler cause most of you seem to not know what exactly the "300 club" is.
Yes it started with the milsim guys at the EAR. it has nothing to do with 8 pack abs and angry men with beards. It's a throwback to the days when stock guns shot about 280fps. Members of the "300 club" have guns that shoot under 300 fps, by choice. because now stock guns run like 340fps+ in practical terms it mean "those who choose not to upgrade their guns because we fuckin rock and it doesn't matter if your screaming on all cylinders with a systema we'll still drop you like a doe" But the term originates from when TM guns shot no more than 300 in stock form were the norm. its kinda like those guys who go hunting turkey with a slingshot, its just for the challenge and to keep it exciting, cause whats the fun in blowing it's brains out from 700 yards away when it has no idea its being hunted? same deal with airsoft. when everybody is running 380fps it's awesome to show up with like a TM scorpion and just dominate |

Hehe, that'd be funny.
Actually I go through a LOT less ammo than 300 rounds per game, and that's using my AEG. Been a couple game days where I'd barely make it though a midcap. I remember the least amount of ammo I ever went through, was sniper rifle and suppressed MK23, I fired four shots and got three kills, one was with my pistol. Granted I was in stealth mode at the time, but was also going 15 vs. 15 vs. me. Another time I lugged my MP5 and M24 for an evening/night game, I barely used a locap, and only fired off four shots with my rifle (all after 10pm) and net three kills. Thing being, I feel like going around without my chest rig, without a pile of mags on me, just want to give the shotty a run for a while and see what happens. And my getting the C11 is purley to have a cheap gas pistol I can count on, at least til I get my G19s working (once I got one working great for a half dozen mags at home, only to find out it spewed gas first shot at the game when I needed it). At least I have a working kick ass MK23 now that I can count on working, but if not, the C11 will be there with me next year, provided it keeps working. |

i think a big challenge would be to bring out as many bbs as there are players in your sniper, or like 2bbs per person on the oppostie team?

Would be rather pointless actually. Sniping in airsoft is nothing like real steel, there really are few 'one shot, one kill' past 150ft. I have great fun running my rifle and pistol, leaving the AEG and the chest rig elsewhere and going light, really brings out the skills. Just like my want of using a shotgun next year, is light and effective, and won't get in the way like an AEG will (physical size and shape, plus mags are easier to carry and lighter). And I've already mastered the pistol, rifle, SMG/AEG............ so all that's left is the shotgun and support gun (no thanks) for me to focus on and have something fresh to make me look forward to games.
