Pimp My MK46
Will be going to my first airsoft game this weekend, and am hoping to finally game my A&K M249 mk46. I have always been in the sniper role and have been wanting to expand roles and bought myself the MK46, depending on how I like being in a support role I will more than likely want to add some accessories.
I don't quite know what is out there in way of accessories so give me some suggestions. (Yes its still got the orange tip, with the way things are going in regards to airsoft and Trudeau I may keep it orange)

Get an M203 for it. Those make everything better.

Mag brand box mags are nice. Especially the smaller sack style ones help make the saw a bit easier to handle. Especially mk46 where you can almost ditch the bipod and put a vert grip on and play it like the fat m4 she is. Honestly play with it and then decide what you want to do to help with your play style. I personally prefer just setting bipod up in a choke point and surprise bushwhacking guys.

ditch the shitty bipod, get a good brand grip pod.
Ditch the big plastic box mag grab a nut sack style mag, MAG is best, A&K isn't terrible. I'd remove the front Top rail, as its not very useful and can get in the way of mounting things to the side rails. other then that, optic of your choice, maybe a light if you need one. |
