Thats what you think.
As you can see I am also a new member and now I'm looking for my 3rd AEG and 3rd GBB plus I have 3 springers and gear almost done my woodland loadout and then I'm going to build a CADPAT one and then a MULTI CAM one and then a WW2 one then I'll need guns to go with them. Ya it adds up and it doesnt stop.

Take a look at the list in my signature block. All these guns were accquired since October, and totals around $3300 or so. That's not counting all the loadout gear (full CADPAT loadout including real CF kevlar helmet), accessories (batteries, sights, spare mags), cases, holsters, parts and upgrades (new AEG internals, C8 metal body, metal slides, tightbore barrels, pistol performance upgrades), etc I've bought. Those add on another $1500 easily.
However, now that I have all these great guns, I don't see myself getting anything else for a while except an Mp5 of some sort. I want that for collection purposes, mostly, as I don't think I'll ever need a CQB gun for actual gaming - at least not regularly. Otherwise, I don't plan on getting another loadout other than my CADPAT TW. I have the full loadout now and I'm ready to hit the field for my first game. But you never know what impulse buys I may end up with in the future from our classified section. That's been a real killer on my wallet.

truth be told I only spent about $1000 my first year that including a used gun, vest, OD camo, a springer shoty, a cheap C02 nbb sidearm and a holster (already had goggles due to previous sinful life of paintball) all but the primary gun bought at my local army surplus =3 see you don't need to spend too much if you know how to look around... and have a friend with a battery charger >.>
also... damn you crunch I am quite envious of your and your collection grr Last edited by AngelusNex; January 25th, 2008 at 11:55.. |

apparently airsoft reduces to almost nothing a man's natural defenses against compulsive shopping.

Guys, just a word of caution here...considering the number of robberies of airsoft equipment lately posted on ASC, you may want to be selective on what you are posting. This looks like a good shopping list if someone knows where you are located.

One other word of advice - considering how much you invest in the equipment and time in customizing...you may want to invest in a safe to lock them up in. Costco has a great safe and not that badly priced. If someone does decide to go shopping at your place, minimize the damage and with any luck, he will only walk away with a bag of bb's and a chest rig!
