This is the best option.. I've had springs drop as little as 15 FPS and as much as 40 FPS by doing this.. depends on the spring and how long you leave it compressed but a few days should suffice.

I'm gonna turn mine down so I can run Propane under 450fps instead of using duster all the time.

Too bad I didn't know this before I cut 2 coils off that spring ;(
