Do you have a blow back G&G? Or an "old fashioned" one?

If old fashioned one means non-blowback then yes. It's old fashion.
The lower receiver is plastic by the way. ~THUG |

So you're just trying to separate the upper and lower receivers?
Pull out the front pin (in the picture the pin head is sitting ontop of the ejection port cover...not sure why, usually I'd just pull it out and put it aside). Pull back on the charging handle. Just enough to unlatch it. Some mechboxes will catch on the inside of the handle and you'll snap your catch if you yank on the front end while it's still latched. Slide the front end right off the lower. NOTE: If it's front wired (i.e. the battery is in the forend)...you need to separate whatever wiring there is up front so that the wires can slip back through the upper receiver as you pull it off. Go slowly/gently or you'll rip the wires apart. The wires are also routed around the hopup unit...you may need to help them along as you pull it apart. Take note of how the wires were laid out...it's a tight fit and they have to go back the same way. It should just come off. If it hangs up on the charging handle...pull the handle back more and try to lift it over whatever's on the mechbox that's blocking it. Best of luck, Tys |

Once the pin is out, the front of the upper receiver lifts up, so it shows that it's loose, but the back doesn't budge. I pull on the charging handle, but nothing. It's as if it's glued there. @.@
~THUG Edit: Nevermind. I managed to get it off. Last edited by Oo13LUoTHUG26oO; June 5th, 2009 at 17:50.. |

Pull the delta ring (google) back and the ris should split into a top and bottom half. Take the bottom half off first (it's just the bottom rail). It might be a really tight fit...might be loose. The front ends are tucked under a ring up by the front sight...lift up from the rear.
If you want to take the whole barrel off...you've got to take off: - flashhider - front sight - ris ring - ris - delta ring then the outer barrel will pull straight out of the receiver. Hmmm...I should consider doing this for other people...maybe even charge for it...or even teach some guys how to work on AEGs in person... |
