Yes, thats true, but becarefull with velocitys that high. not only are they over most field limits in Ontario, Version 2 mechbox's are prone to breaking from velocitys that high (especially in the cold). Great way to help prevent a cracked mechbox? Buy and install a sorbo pad, they are about 12 bucks at airsoftparts.ca and will not only make your gun happier and longer lasting, it will make it quiter too.

As for buying small parts out of country? sure, maybe you save yourself a couple bucks, but i like to support the local guy, not to mention, airsoftparts.ca orders are usually at my house within 2 days.

I know some people were talking of ordering from local shops, which for some stuff I agree is alright, but if you are ordering light and small items, order from China or Japan. I ordered spring, shims and 3 hop up buckings from Ehobbyasia.com and the shipping was 8.00USD and I never got hit with customs. Other advantage springs cost only 5-9.00USD same with other items, so you can avoid the Canadian markup.

I am going to order in the near future a PDI 140% spring to try to lower the FPS to 400 with a .2gram. Also one further note the Version 2 gear box was well built, properly shimmed and has bearings, ball bearing spring guide, ball bearing piston head, metal gears and box so if you are going to upgrade the G&G don't bother with anything but the spring and decent lubricant, granted though hop-up enhancements are a good idea, I installed 70 degree hard Guarder hop-up bucking since the velocity is getting kind of high.

The only way I think of, when getting a second gearbox, would be as a direct drop-in replacement or as spare parts incase your originals break.

Like everybody else said, you're better upgrading with a sorbo pad, new spring, hopup rubber, tight bore barrel, 9,6volts battery for more ROF, silencer to hide a longer barrel, etc.
Go for accuracy, but not the sniper type. You're still with an assault rifle.

IMO, you'll not really hurt more with a higher FPS. People wearing big CIRAS and such will not "fear" BBs hitting 3 or 4 layers of cordura (probably add false plates or soft foam).

Think that's all

I have one more question:
Will this hop-up bucking work with my gun and will it help with accuracy?

Yes it will work, its just the small little nub. The H shape helps to provide an even friction across the top of the BB. What it will do is make your shots more consistent, from shot to shot. Which, basically amounts to accuracy. If the flight path of your BB is consistent, you can easily use it well.

Thanks, how hard do you think it is to install?
