Double Eagle Ak-47 Help

Back in september of 2008 i bought a Double Eagle Ak-47 airsoft gun off of www.airgunsource.com ; Its a really good gun except it is created mostly out of plastic. I would like to upgrade the gun such that it has a full metal body. The plastic receiver it came with broke because it couldn't handle the weight of the battery.

I am wondering if anyone has upgraded this gun and if anyone knows a store where i could purchase metal parts for this gun. I also want to replace the the plastic stock with a wood one. Any links to stores is appreciated.

*I am currently holding the gun together with duck tape. It shoot about 400 fps and cost me less than $200. I would like to upgrade this gun instead of buying a new one. -Also, the website discontinued their stock of this gun so i cannot exchange it.

* I am looking for
-Metal parts
-Wood stock and handle
-New fuse

Thanks

that gun is not TM compatible, upgrading it is a lost cause,the front end will not fit any TM compat. upgrade metal bodies. the trunnion style is also different and will also not fit most airsoft wood kits.

get age verified and buy a real gun from the classifieds

Yeah I bought one of these out of the blue for a project, I'm only really using the screws and mechbox from it. The rest is junk

I didn't fully understand you. I understand that this gun is modeled different and is not part compatible. So i cannot upgrade to wood stock and handle, but am i still able to upgrade to a metal body?

Thats not the problem.

Where the stock and gun meet, the plastic broke so the gun is split in half. I want to replace the plastic above the handle with something metal to repair it.

If i cannot upgrade the gun, then i want to fix it so it doesn't break every time i use it.
