Banana?
So I lots of postings on the classifieds with the word "banana". What does that mean?

The mods use this to easily identify old classifieds threads that need to be moved. When an item is sold the seller will just put banana somewhere in the post and the mods will find it and move it out of the active classifieds section. I guess they choose banana as the word since its not likely to show up that often in a regular classifieds post.

No, it's meant for the sales sections only. We don't search for it outside of the classifieds, we use the report function for non-sales sections.
