Re-wiring an MP5 SD5 to the front grip?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions / tutorials on how to re-wire an MP5 SD5 to the front grip. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Well....what can I tell you...

Run the wires through the right side of the shell, at the top edge of the mechbox cylinder. Run the wires underneath the hopup unit and through the provided space for wires into the grip.

The wires can be a pretty tight fit, might have to try a few times to get them in the right position and be able to close the gun shells back together.

Anything else?

And make sure to give yourself enough wire! You can always cut some off.

It would suck to get it all back together and find out you only have 2cm of wire sticking out into the handgrip area!

I got one of these used. Whoever had it before me had wired it to the front.

They cut the wires close to the mechbox, and put a plug in, and then ran the wires to the front as noted.

If you ever wanted to go back to the rear then you could just pull the plug and hook up another lead to the back without having to do more than take the stock off.

Yup, that's how MP5's are normally set up. Mini plug at the back of the mechbox. I just assumed the OP would be doing that.
