Holster wear on Slide
I know airsoft pistol finish arent made as good as firearms. How much wear will be shown from a Shooter Design's CNC slide from SERPA holster?
And which colour will show less wear? Black, Titanium, or Silver? (I wish it was stainless) |

What pistol?
With my USP, there was very little wear on the slide, it wasn't discolored or anything, but the black finish had turned a little less textured. That was after a year and a half of use though. On my MEU... well I haven't used it enough to notice a difference so far. |

Likely it'd be a painted slide, so you might see wear marks (they look cool though), but on the Shooter's Design, I doubt it. I have the MK23 SD slide and it's anodized, which is a lot toughter than paint. But I can't comment on the holster in question since I don't own one, don't know where the wear marks occur from it (if any).

If you're a gamer and not a collector, why are you concerned?
Guns are meant to be used and have some wear on them! |

Factory slide will wear very badly, SD slide will not.
