WEll MB-03
Hey, I just got a WELL MB-03 sniper, and I had a problem with it after assembly. When you pull the bolt back, it doesn't cock. No click even. I'll pull it as far as it'll go, but nothing happens. I don't really want to void the warranty by taking it apart until I know for sure if it'll fix it. I ordered it off of Airsplat.com, and all the reviews say its a decent gun after you fix the slamfiring problem. Any advice would be great.

do you feel any resistance when pulling the bolt back? (because of the spring)

if he means theres no click and doesnt cock, means theres no resistance. I think the spring is un-alligned. I don't know the word for this but it happened to me few times on the mb05 where i could pull the bolt as i wish without any resistance. The bolt was like "free"
I took it apart and re-asssembled it and it worked. You will have to disassemble it and re-assemble it. You have no choice ... there's no magic key for that.

This is most likely caused by the sear not catching the piston. The only way to fix it is to take it apart and fix the trigger assembly.

Ever tried to re-engage the spring-guide retainer?
That is the pin that goes into the cylinder that holds the spring when you cock. You have to remove the receiver assembly to check/re-engage it. Just remove the screws under the stock, front of the trigger guard. Then pull on the barrel up in a rotation from the trigger. The rear part of the trigger guard is keyed to the stock. Look on the sides of the trigger unit, there is a little button that can be slided up and down. It should be completely up. |
