Perhaps you should float around CGN (Canadian GunNutz) and see if anyone has a SVT stock for sale, although it'd be a tough find.

lol, I was going to do the G43 initially but then I saw the SVT40, theres a guy over at WWII AA doing one, http://ww2aa.proboards45.com/index.c...ead=1193508168

and theres also this japanese site where some guy has been building a whole bunch of rifles and stuff, G43 included:
http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl..._/9/diy_9.html

and for the other people heres the airsoft index of the stuff this guy has made: http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl...u/diy/diy.html

Hes heavily modded all the rifles, but one of the things I'm confused about though is how he's connected the mag to hopup chamber in most of the rifles. Its clearly seen on his M14 page http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl...19/diy_19.html, picture # 2 and 3

I've done abit of research/planning, put things on paper and I've came up with a list of gearboxes that may possibly work with a svt40 stock:

-tm Famas V1 gearbox
-tm P90 V6 gearbox
-g&g l85 or army R85 gearbox (not sure what version this is)

only problem is that I only have a general idea of how the L85 and the P90 gearboxes are triggered.. I know they'll all need the trigger repositioned (a reverse ice-cutter trigger assembly of some sort?), but not sure what part of the gearbox is supposed to be linked to the trigger/rod thingy.

any ideas/help?

*note, this is all just me putting things onto paper and figuring out how I'd go about doing this project. I'd probably start this around summer when I have more time to spend on things besides term papers and studying for midterms/finals.*
