Threading size?

What is the normal threading size on a AEG? i have been to the hardware store a few time looking for the right size nut to thread on the end of a Broxa. And none of them fit. Do you guys know the size? I'm trying to rig a suppressor. If im not mistaken are most 6mm airsoft gun barrels the same threading?

14mm-

You may have a hard time finding metric threads, since North America is predominantly Imperial sized.

14mm usually counterclockwise (right turn=loose, left=right) opposite of almost every nut you'll find in north america, Why not just buy a silencer, you can find them for as low as $30

Edit: if i got counterclockwise and clockwise backwards I'm sorry and let me know.

Just to point out, you guys have to be very specific that it's M14x1.0 CW or CCW
You can get threads in any size, I've got like M36x1.25 threads on my silencer, and most threads above M10 can usually be found in 3 different pitches

I was asking because i was trying to make a custom suppressor with a pipe a had at home. Just fucking around killing time. It looks super good but im having a hard time finding a way to attach it. The best i can do is 5/8 inch with Teflon tape. Or they have this glue type stuff for pipe fitting but i dont want to glue it....that would not be good.

I don't know where your getting your taps, but your getting ripped off
I paid $60 for my custom ground M14x1 CCW serial tap
And my M14x1 CW guntap was only $35
