Madbull Daniel Defense Omega Rail

Ok so i just received my rail system and im trying to install it onto my G&G m4 cqb-r, i got the front sight off just fine as im going to be receiving battle sights soon. The problem is that the rail system seems just a bit to big to fit in the part that holds the rails in place. is there a trick to this? Its supposed to be install without modification so its a tad annoying.

Thanks for the help

Nate

If you're referring to the delta ring at the base of the upper receiver, then you may want to purchase a new one. Owning a G&G myself as a loaner, I found that the stock G&G delta ring is sized just a bit smaller than standard rings. With the stock ring I was unable to properly mount a Magpul MOE hand guard.

Purchasing a King Arms Delta Ring from Jugglez at AirsoftParts.ca resolved my issue. I expect it would do the same for you. Make sure it's the KA version and not the G&P as the threading may be different. Not sure if the G&P ring is threaded for standard TM or it's own receivers (which are different).

KA version for me is tighter and the RIS is more secure on it compare to the G&P one. I think it is more important for RIS such as the Omega or the CASV where you are relying on deltaring as part of the mounting...

I've taken apart delta rings to retain the G&P threaded "bicycle gear" part and swap in either a stiffer spring and or different collar to make assemblies work.

A Snap-On split ring plier tool makes short work of it.

i thought as much, the delta ring did seem a bit small, so that king arms one will fit on my G&G with no problems and should be big enough to fit the Omega system?

Hey Nate, I've got a BNIB KA Delta ring that I've got no use for if you need it
