Looking to mod my SRC magwell to work with a Prowin hopup but neither are standard (TM clones) in an SRC gun. Since JG and CA are both TM clones it shouldn't matter which brand of gun these measurements come off of. Also since its an internal part using a magwell that can take AR mags is just as good.
The two measurements I need are the height of the internal feed tube and the height of the little block at the top of the feed tube. Below is the pic that shows the measurements I need (preferably in mm's.)
The width of the raised bit on top of the feed tube is supposed to be narrow enough to fit inside the hopup unit so that's not an issue as I can take the measurement off of off the hopup unit. My plan is to use cut down sections of an inner barrel to build it from and use a 10mm drill bit to drill into the existing magwell to be able to epoxy the barrel section in.
The problem is the feed tube is built into the hopup unit in an SRC G36 much like any normal M4/16. The hopup unit is made with such low quality standards (go Taiwan!) it doesn't work at all. Ordered a Prowin body and a CA complete hopup for the hardware to hopefully get it working. This is all after the tappet plate seized (too wide), the axle on a gear snapped in two (spur gear), and it had zero airseal when I tested it.
