CA AUG Sportline version versus Regular version

I was wondering what are the main differences between both models? I know that Sportlines are made with cheaper parts but I am not talking about an M4 here where the difference can be more obvious (regular metal and sportline plastic that make a solid difference between the 2.) But for an AUG that the real version is plastic too...

I am tempted with the Sportline AUG A2 Shorty, was just wondering if it's still a decent AEG. Even if it's Sportline, it's still a CA...no?

Thanks

I'd avoid all CA sportline stuff like the plague. They're made to compete in sales with the low-end cheap crap guns...

I doubt they're even made in the same factory.

I would like to have the feedback of someone who really tried a CA AUG sportline not only suppositions. I saw on a disasembly video of the CA M4 Sportline that the internals are better than your average Chinese brands (CYMA, JG and the such). So they might be not that bad, and I am wondering about the body of the AUG sportline if it is pretty close to the proline version.

Nice! I really dig the shorty version, so compact yet with the same barrel lenght of an M4. Perfect for CQB and regular engagement.

I'm confused. So it's a TM Civy body, a shorty conversion kit with a CA Sportline mechbox shell and non CA upgraded internals...

That is nothing like what this guy wants to buy. He's going to get a cheeper then TM plastic shell with potmetal upper and non-upgraded standard CA internals.

Completely correct on the shorty conversion kits, they are awesome for the AUG.

Thanks guys, but we can close this. Finally I would not be able to order one. So that solves my problem, the retailer is only ordering pro-line.

Because I wanted the short barrel version and the real one is the full lenght and I wanted to pay around 300$ not 500$. I already have an AK 105, upgraded with all new internals, so I don't really need another one for now.

I will simply wait a bit more after playing more this summer to really see what kind of AEG I would like.

You can add a short barrel after if you want.

Nah, too expensive. All you need is an AUG silencer adapter for $6 to $10 to replace the forward barrel, and add a flashhider.
Then you change the inner barrel.
