How many times have you tried to fix it after the first opening? Likely it's just a small misalignment issue that is causing a bit of resistance in the trigger group that causes it to not return. Or, your spring tail isn't in the right place.

The only thing that makes the trigger return is the trigger spring. Is it installed correctly (short arm in the hole in the mechbox shell...long arm on the middle of the trigger)?

If there's enough resistance, yes. Open it up a few more times as needed, sometimes it'll take a couple tries to get it sorted out. Nothing is broken, it's just one of the trigger parts being finicky because of the way you assembled it.

You could empty the mechbox of everything and reassemble with just the trigger components, and it can still do the same thing. There's a chance the trigger spring isn't positioned properly, the bent part has to sit inside the hole on the trigger, and the tail has to lie on the mechbox side. V3 triggers have caused me more headaches than V2 just because there are more parts involved. You'll get it if you open it and see how the trigger works, then reassemble. Part of the learning curve.

This could not be more timely. I just put my V3 back together and I new I had the spring in wrong or at least I assumed I did after rewiring. I couldn't find any reference for were it should go so thanks loads guys, saved me from having to ask. Sometimes not matter how careful you are something will escape your notice.

To me that trigger looks a little tight. Anyhow follow the others directions as they are not steering you wrong. V3 triggers.....bahhhh
