I bet it's a good 10-15 pounds. Not much on it's own, but try walking all day holding it in a firing position, considering that the weight is all at the front of the rifle. It's a tirering rifle to hold, no mather how strong you are.

the m14 ebr is 15 lbs without battery , mags , bipod or optics . the standard tm is probably about 10 lbs with optics and such . get a good sling and your good to go.

And don't forget the EBR has nearly all of its weight on the ras after the trigger, which can be realy tough on your non-trigger hand (the one on the handgard). And when I say really, I mean it... yet now I can shoot an A&K MK43 single handed like a pistol

Now that we're talking about EBR's... anyone know when the G&G M14 EBR is coming out? I can't find the release date.

The Tokyo Marui M14 (Fake Wood) is 3.8kg = 8.5 pounds without mag, battery or accessories.

G&P M14 EBR = 4.8kg or so = 10.5lbs. Again without mag, battery or accessories.
