I don't think you realize that on a real steel 1911, if you cock the hammer it's ready to rock if it has a round in the chamber. You don't need to rack the slide.

With a KJ, I've seen that all you need to do is cock the hammer and it will fire, regardless of whether a round has been chambered by racking the slide (this can cause it to fire, regardless of whether a round is chambered - which is unrealistic because with the real one, it would need a round to be chambered in order to fire and return the slide). With a WE, the slide must be racked first, otherwise the hammer will fall, but the gun will not fire.
Maybe this isn't clear... YouTube- airsoft vs real steel 1911-A1 KJW, WE, cyber gun(delta colt & M1911A1)...spring & gas This comparison demonstrates it. Last edited by Kid; April 8th, 2010 at 05:07.. |

YouTube- M 1911 a1
Makes me want to buy Bell... oh well. Might pick one up while I'm in China just to play around with while I'm there. Price is about $70 with full trademarks. |

I have a kwa M1911A1 DS, it is one of the best gbbs made. no trade, but it is preupgraded with awesome out of box performance. So you could spend upgrade money on getting trades put on the slide.
for most realistic 1911a1 you must go with WA or TM, but they wont shoot anything like the kwa. The kwa is similar to shooting a 22 cal. pistol. |
