Type 0 Cylinder on TM M14? Yes or No?
Was wondering if its worth it. If it will boost fps, or have a negative impact on performance?
I'm running a 6.03 tightbore, modify S100+ spring, all other piston componants are stock.

An M14 should already have a non-ported cylinder.

I was starting to think that, but I admit it's been a while since I had it apart. I might be confusing the internals with my other AEG.

It also kinda depends if it's a standard M14 or a M14 socom (due to difference in barrel length). I believe there's an article on arnie's airsoft about cylinder types and what goes with which barrel length or somethin like that.

You should be good to go unless you've changed it for some reason .

The Tokyo Marui M14 does not use a regular AEG cylinder. It is longer. A type 0 cylinder would not be appropriate.
Get a v7 gearbox-specific cylinder. |
