TM DE Chrome orange tip removal
Hey guys,
Just a quick question - I've already searched on the forum about orange tip removal, and I've heard nail polish remover might work. Is it safe to remove the whole orange tip of my DE with the nail polish remover? Will it affect the under-paint (or whatever it is named)? Is there a special way to do it? Thanks a lot guys |

Your gun will not have an orange tip.

for enamel spray paint on plastic, paint thinner (petroleum solvent) will remove the paint but not the plastic. However it will sometimes mess with transparent plastics. acrylic spray paint on plastic is pretty much unremovable without sanding since the tricholoro will melt everything. cheerz

You can try with "Castrol SuperClean" It is some purple stuff that is sold at Walmart. Google it.
Don't use it directly on the gun, try before in an hidden area and go slowly. It removes every paint from most plastics without any damage. Don't know about the chrome finish though, so you might want to check before. |
