G36 Summer Project

If finances fit, I may try to turn my CA G36 into a sniping platform. But before I do this, I need to replace a few things. I think the hopup might be screwed up, no biggy since I found plenty of replacements there so I figured I'd replace the inner barrel at the same time. Now heres the problem, the stock outer barrel broke around where the mock gas tube is. The whole outer barrel just slides off because of this. A friend of mine tried to JBweld it back on but the fix didn't hold so I tried looking for a replacement around my sources for airsoft parts. Nothing on Airsoft Parts or Redwolf, extended my search to AirsoftGI and Global turning up goose egg, found parts on Ehobby but they're STAR and ARES parts so I don't know if they will fit CA.
Most of the aftermarket parts I found were geared for the C and K so I'm wondering if this idea of mine would be fruitless. Or could I order the direct parts from CA?

All barrel sets are for C. The K and full barrel are just screwed to the place where the C flash hider is usually.

If you want a solid alternative... evike as a reinforced metal front end.... I know, evike... but they don't sell it anywhere else. Brand is Matrix. Works with CA hop-up units.

Was this the one you were referring toé...(pardon that, just noticed the question mark is not working). I also found this ARES G36 gas tube from EHobby since this is the part that needs replacement. I would like to avoid Evike as best I can, I at least have ordered from Ehobby before.
