Ak Stock adapter wiring

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if you can feed wires through a King Arms AK to M4 stock adapter? I'd want to run a crane stock with a battery because I don't want to have to get another type of battery (ie stick) since I have 3 crane stock batteries already.

there is a small hole to run the wires through to the stock but you'll have to remove and resolder the battery connector

also this adaptor won't work with tang type ak receivers

Soldering isn't a problem, I always switch to deans anyway. What do you mean by tang type? Is that with the metal flanges on the side or the top?

I'm guessing that the adapter is compatible with stocks that attach at the top and bottom, anyone care to confirm?

I can't see how that would work Spike. I'm guessing you want to go from a fixed stock on the AK to the Crane?

I don't see anywhere on there that would fit into the AK reciever or anywhere that you could get the top or bottom bars from the original stock plate to attach to the adapter.

I'm not positive though. Send Ash a PM on AAS and see if he can help. He has a Crane on his.

Check this one out, and you can see the front end where it slides into the reciever.. so it replaces the original stock plate.

the other adapter is a bad angle photo.. It's hard to tell how it attaches..but it might be the same..

Nice find. That makes it alot more clear how it works. I'd now say go for it. What Ak do you plan to put this on?

Seems pretty straight forward.

I think I'll be getting one of Subman's cheaper AKs...I can get an Element body for it if it's not the right kind of stock tabs. It's actually going to be for a conversion :O
