kjw kp05 rear sight

Hi guys
ok I feel stupid, I removed the rear sight on my kp05 easily enough, but now I cant seem to get it back into the groove. What is the trick to putting it back on, aside from tapping it with a rubber mallet? Any help is appreciated

You need to put it on before you put the guts back in the slide, if I remember correctly. Then attach the screw to hold the sight
