Minor Upgrades for a CA M15 TC

I bought myself a 'CA M15 Tactical Carbine (proline)' from a friend who had an accident at work and is no longer able to airsoft. I payed 125 euros (167 CAD) for the weapon and some accessories. It included a set of 8.4v 3300 mAh batteries. The gun was used infrequently and is about 4 years old.

Now, I would like to upgrade it so it performs to the best of its ability. Groups in my area have a 350FPS limit on FullAuto replicas. From my understanding it should shoot around 310-315 stock. So that limits the upgrades I can carry out.

I need some assistance in making sure that I upgrade the right parts and don't end up upgrading it beyond the limit (350fps) or upgrade parts that don't really need upgrading.

I figure adding the following
-Prometheus Inner barrel 6.03mm (363mm)
-Prometheus Soft hopup packing

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

The parts you need depends on what you want to improve. Do you want to improve accuracy, increase the FPS, rate of fire, ect.

If you want to increase the rate of fire get a 9.6v battery.
The tight bore and hop up rubber will help to get you more accuracy, but you compression system also plays a major part in accuracy.
If you want to increase the FPS to near 350, all you need to do is change the spring for an m110.

Increasing accuracy and overall performance are my primary goals. The batteries I currently have are still good and ROF is pretty decent.

H1TMAN, by compression system I assume you refer to the piston head and cylinder?

Edit: Are the stock parts able to handle a M110 spring?

NOTE: I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes the inner workings of AEG's

If it's a CA, as a general rule I replace anything yellow.

Piston, Piston Head, Tappet Plate, Selector plate.

I would also replace the cylinder head, spring guide and hop-up unit

Any products (or brands) you are willing to share would be a great help.

I assume my replica uses a Full Teeth piston, can anyone confirm this?

yes, it would use a full teeth piston. Half teeth pistons are for helical gears. its not Half the number of teeth, its half the width of each tooth.

CA is quite decent stock, but even then you can shim the gears, and regrease the mechbox

Thank you fi3re.

Any piston of a specific brand or material that you would advice?

So, I put together a list of items that were recommended. I found these items on several shops and were in stock.

Guarder High Performance HOPUP unit
Prometheus Hard Piston for V2
Prometheus Air Nozzle for M16A2/M4/SR/M733
Prometheus non-linear Spring MS100
Guarder Spring Guide
Prometheus EGBarrel 6.04mm (364mm)
Prometheus Soft Bucking (hopup)

I still need to find a proper pistonhead and a cylinder.

Any thoughts or comments are welcome.

Rule of thumb, try to avoid mixing brands.

If you go with systema, promethus or another brand, go with it all the way.

Some parts like a promethus tightbore and hopup sleeve it's ok but some innards like different brand pistons and gears get grumpy toghther.

Makes sense, I look for prometheus products then.

Merci beaucoup!

Prometheus Tappet Plate
Prometheus Selector Plate
Tokyo Marui Piston Body

Rest of the stuff you have is fine... Don't use guarder parts
