if you got your item within 4-5 days after it was shipped then they have met their promise .. even if it took them a week to process your order and ship it, provided there was no promise to ship on the date of order.
Agreed, you get it

My disappointment stemmed from the fact that their reasoning behind the delay was pointless.

I've done alot of business with them and you expect the service to improve with time not get worse.

Having worked considerably in customer service for many years let me share with you what little Ive learned about the mark of good customer service.

When the customer believes that they in fact received good customer service.

You could provide magical instant shipping at no cost with gold plated boxes that performed sexual favors and none of that would matter if the customer did not believe that the service they received was satisfactory. Kinda sounds like a bum deal eh.

Cheers.

Wow... Just Wow...

I stated that to state my credentials to show you that I have experience in this matter. Nowhere did I Hijack this thread, and it was only brought up after to try to explain to those who DONT have experience that this is what you should expect. I dont even Advertise on ASC as my customers come to me via word of mouth, not baseless internet crap.

If your going to make BS claims like that, such as "Racket Extorting people out of money" you better be able to back it buddy, else that is Slander.

Dispite the fact that you may be right in the matter that It "shouldnt" have to be this way, your attitude has clearly shown that you cant keep your cool over something as simple as an delay/issue or even a simple discussion on the internet.

Your "You wouldnt like me when im angry" comment and your raging on those who try to help you (Rugger and myself) isnt helping you at all. If you keep this up, noone is going to help you in the future, or give you expertese and advice.

You wanna go rage on something, go punch holes in drywall or something. (ASC Reference)

from the e-hobby FAQ

When will you receive the order?
We will process the orders once payment has been confirmed. We typically ship out the order within 24 - 48 hours, and for items required modification or tailor-made, it may take up to 5 days for labor.

the word typically.. indicates no promise of service.. your expectations were not reasonable .. and you were under some sort of delusion regarding how fast you should get your article.

the minimum expected delivery should have been 4 days processing +5 days in transit - + 1 day in country delivery = 10 days from order .. minimum

Based on the information provided on the site .. I'd be quite happy with delivery within 14 days

I don't think they made a BS excuse after sitting on your order.. I think they sent a standard warning before actually shipping your item following their typical processing period.

The nice part about buying from HK is exceptional prices (not in all cases). The downside is bad comms, poor shipping times, and sometimes total incompetence. I can see that they delayed your shipment - if you pay for express shipping 5 days but they wait 4 days to ship it, thats bad customer service in my opinion. But informing you of something they probably have encountered in the past and giving you warning is something they didn't have to do. Thats good in my opinion.

Support a local retailer and buy local, you'll get faster shipping, english comms and don't have to contend with the border or shipping.

I've ordered allot of stuff form Ehobby and I've always received in 15 -25 days after ordering. Never once used express shipping, figured it would be a waste and only save 1 or two days. If I get my item sooner than 15 days (it did happen once ) I was ecstatic!

+1 with the caveat of course that the product is available in our fine country or one of us is able to get it for you.

Good luck getting it sorted.

I've almost always chosen to opt for express if its a courier option.

Although its more expensive my shipping times from certain retailers are as follows:

WGC Shop : 3 Business days
Ehobby Asia: 4-5 Business days

This includes customs clearance. I've actually found this is where the advantage lies as EMS packages inbound from Hong Kong Generally average 6 hours to clear through the CBSA where as lower priority packages can take days and in some cases weeks.

I expect the fact that I live in Toronto helps also as I've never had a package take more then 24 hours to arrive once its cleared.

This entire situation seems odd as I've done so much business with them in the past: however it seems to be a disturbing trend in their business ethics of late... my past 3 orders have been handled more and more poorly until this.

And now I'm done with them... WGC shop it is from now on I guess, those guys are like customer service ninja's.

dude... calm down... they now take 2-3 days to reply to emails too (they usually take 24hours to reply...), that's because it's the airsoft High season for the retailers in HK... they sell alot of stuff every day, just give them a little more time....

I'm confused.

Why are so many people telling me to relax and be patient when by their own policy they are screwing me.

It took 96 hours for them to send me a single communication regarding my order, with the weekend it will take an additional 96 hours for them to receive my response.

So my order was delayed 6 days when I paid for express shipping, no big deal had they contacted me sooner... but they didn't, so I'm not shopping there anymore unless they go above and beyond to reconcile this issue.

This isnt the first problem, just the latest... and the last.

ArcticFox1984 if you want to start threads and rant that's fine, but don't turn your anger on people replying to your thread just because their opinion is different than yours. If you don't want to read what people have to say then go scribble some shit in a bathroom stall or something.

Based on your general attitude in this thread, I think you should do everyone -- most of all yourself -- a huge favor and just avoid importing yourself in the future. Buy domestically and/or have someone import for you. Anything else will just lead to more threads like this.
