Is www.recon-tactical.com a trustworthy website?
I have recently ordered with this californian based company. I placed an order. They sent me back an email saying what i have bought, the shipping adress and company. I havent heard from them for about 12 days now, and would like to know if they are trustworthy. Has anyone had any complaints of service and lack of communication with them? Thank you.

This is the kind of thing you ask before making a purchase.
Where are you located? And what did you order from them? |

Possibilities:
-They are back-ordered or swamped at this current time -It hasn't cleared customs yet (or WON'T clear customs) -You got pwn3d I would ask the company if they have a tracking number for your package, and if they've ever had problems shipping to Canada. I would also try to keep your orders to within Canada; not only does it cut down on ship time/duty fees, but wouldn't you rather buy from a fellow Canadian? The govenator has enough money as it is. |

No these guys suck, I was ordering an item for my MICH, they were one of the few vendors for this item, and they were the lowest price so i ordered it from them. Since mail overseas can take a while I waited, never received my order and so when i got home from overseas I attempted to contact them they never answer their phone or emails. i got one reply back that said they attempted to call my cell phone but of course MY cell wasn't working. So they gave me a yahoo address to respond to, of course i have heard nothing.
Do not do bussiness with these guys, tell everyone you know to beware of them. |

I don't think the CBSA would hold or destroy ACU gear, would they? I mean, it isnt on their website, as far as I've seen.

There's NO way they will destroy gear, why would they? The only items that could get seized and destroyed are receivers, mags with fake bullets and the likes. Not fucking cloth.

Yeah they are frauds, I reported them with Visa and got our money back. Its a spam site that just wants your money and you cant contact them.
