New Cxp Paint job

What will you paint it next? If you have an airbrush I think you should do some urban or something like snow camo. Not sure why but the shape of the gun just suits the look for me.

Um im not sure maybe in the summer ill go with some else maybe woodland, right now for outside and the snow, i like this camo, its not to dark or white, my version of winter camo hahaha.. Yeah the CXP08 is the one i liked the most. my kinda gun.. and it will fit all the stuff i want to do with it..

Yeah. I'm not a huge CoD fan but I'm in love with the ACR from the snow level. I really want to get my hands on something like it and paint 'er up.
Plus I really want to get an M16 and do some digital urban camo with a holo sight. I can dream...

lol man. i spent 2 hours trying to do the digi cam, cutting it out sucked!! and i messed it up abit so i said fak it and did this to it hahahah.. pretty hard to do properly, even with all the tutorials on youtube etc.

Havent seen that one yet on the snow level i dont think.. but this one i have cloth ill wrap around it also when im playing outside in the snow.

this is us a few weeks ago

we play in all kinda weather lol

What I did for stencils in the past was just get sticker paper and print off a grid. Much easier than painter's tape. It would have worked flawlessly if I wasn't so damn impatient. I love to paint things, but I hate the waiting part.

hahah yeah i hear yah, i hate waiting.. and yeah it said paint tape with wax paper! Well that sucked big time lol damn paper kept ripping, so i kinda gave up.. to much time.

Word to the wise, A teamate has the same gun and the minute he ran it on lipo it started puking yes i said puking chunks of the piston and internals out the barrel and shredded just about everything inside the Mechbox. Make sure to upgrade the internals before switching to lipo. Just a warning would hate to have ya damage a sweet looking gun.

Hey man thanks for the info. I'll definitely keep that in mind for when i do go for a new battery, Sometime next month i will actually be upgrading a lot of the internals and all thats needed, so hopefully then i wont have any issues. I also contacted airsoftparts.ca and asked them for a bit of info on parts, and he sent me what i would need to upgrade the gun. So hopefully that will work, i want it to shoot abit further also. .

and Id be abit mad if i got a good battery and my gun just crapped out on me, specially if i was out playing. I just found out by someone that once you finish shooting, you need to release the spring lol.. wtf never knew that. weird.

I believe with ICS guns, you just have to tap on the forward assist knob a couple of times. ICS built a spring release into it, but I'm not 100% sure if it's on all their M4/M16 based guns.

(((Beware)))

Before you it the the forward assist/spring release button:
1) Go to semi and fire 2 or 3 shots
2) then hit the button

On full auto the piston can stop cycling at 4 different location 2 of them can potentially damage your AEG if you hit the button... on semi it only cycles to the correct location

Plus Lipo might not be the best idea in the M4 split gearbox design

thanks guys, yeah i just read something on that.. woops... well nothings broken yet, so at least i know this hahha.. noob errors i guess.. but we all learn one way or another. Ive been doing alot of reading and research on it, parts, functions, etc. so all in due time i guess.
