Fire selector

Hey I have a G&G MP5 SD6 MAX. and it works fine other then the fire selector seems to be a little lose so as you fire it wants to lock up between semi/auto/safe and can be vary annoying. Do I have to go into the gearbox to fix this? I cant seem to find a fix for it online. and would like to know a little before i start taking it apart.

There's a small philips screw on the selector. Loosen it, press the selector towards the gun with a bit of force, and retighten.

Sadly did not work. even with the selector right off, it still dose the clicking. I guess i'll have to pull it apart
