Empty or full?

When not in use should you leave GBB pistol mags empty or full with gas? Thanks.

General consensus is that enough there should be enough gas for a couple shots left in a mag. The theory is that the pressure from the gas helps keep the seals intact and in good condition. However, some will point out that the pressure from a little gas is very close to the pressure from a full mag. Personally I just give a 1 second blast of gas in my mags.

I keep all my mags full.

Incidentally, I've never had a magazine leak.

Gas mags full, CO2 mags empty. I found CO2 is alot more sensitive to being moved around and stored with a powerlett in them.

I've had gas leaks, some from my self some from my mags .

If in doubt...keep them mostly full with gas. Your gas should have some silicone oil in it. The idea is to keep pressure on the seals...and to keep the seals from drying out.

If you'll fill 'em right up full...then put them somewhere hot, you stand doing more bad than good.

It's essential for some mags...not so critical with others.
