real sword type-56-1 problem
Hey guys,
Recently i bought a brand new real sword ak. This thing is a work of art, Only problem is that when i try to shoot it on full auto it will shoot a quick burst then become unresponsive. I will then try shooting it on semi and the same result occurs after a few shots. Does anybody have an idea as to what the problem might be? Help will be greatly appreciated. |

Make sure that your battery is fully charged for starters

Well, I had a problem with my 56-2. It sounds different, but - who knows... After shooting auto and switching to semi, gun stops shoot after few bbs (or otherwise - semi to auto). To make it shoot again, you have to switch to safety and than to whatever you need.

You will most likely need to open you're mechbox for this, If you do not feel comfortable with this then look for a reputable gundoc, and let them fix it.
Try looking at you're switch assembly to see if the trigger block is coming off the trigger's sear when you pull it, the only time that trigger block should depart from the trigger's sear is when the semi-auto latch catches it and lifts it off. A quicker less accurate idea for trouble shooting would be, putting the gun on full auto for fire selection, and lightly pull the trigger (do not pull it all the way or "bottom it out") until is starts firing and hold the trigger in that spot. If the gun remains firing then you know its not other electrical issues, but you will need a new trigger block or trigger to resolve this issue. (could try filing the old one, I've done it and it's worked.)
